Stronger and More Stable: Sustainable Fitness for Your Hypermobile Body
Living in a hypermobile body can be frustrating and exhausting. We know that experience intimately - we don’t just specialize in hypermobility - we’re hypermobile ourselves. We understand the flare-ups, the instability, the fatigue, and the frustration firsthand. You’re not starting from scratch here - you’re supported by people who genuinely get it.
Hypermobility can be painful and destabilizing
Hypermobility means one or more of your joints moves beyond the typical range of motion. Like many conditions, it exists on a spectrum. For some people, it causes no issues at all. But for others, it can come with frustrating and sometimes confusing symptoms like pain, instability, fatigue, or a general feeling that their body is a little less predictable than they’d like. Hypermobility is also not a term that means you’re super flexible either; many hypermobile people feel tight or stiff because they’re muscles are working overtime to keep their joints supported.
To make matters a bit more complex, hypermobility (also called Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder or Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome) often overlaps with other chronic conditions that can impact energy, digestion, and overall wellbeing, such as: POTS and other forms of dysautonomia, Mass Cell Activation Disorders, interstitial cystitis, GI issues like IBS, reflux, constipation, or gastroparesis, chronic fatigue, and autoimmune conditions like Lupus rheumatoid arthritis, and Hashimoto’s.

Whether you’re just dealing with hypermobility, or you’ve got multiple conditions overlapping, managing your symptoms can be challenging. That’s where we can help you - we know exactly how to support you and your body so that you can feel better, sooner, and with greater predictability.
We support your hypermobility with movement and nutrition
Our approach blends strength training, nervous system support, and highly personalized nutrition to help you build the stability and resilience your body needs while understanding all of the limitations.
Strength training that builds stability, not flare-ups
With hypermobility, it can feel like your muscles are constantly on high alert. By strengthening the deep core and key stabilizing muscles around your hips, shoulders, and spine, we help your body feel more supported and less reactive. Our goal over time is to have fewer “mystery” flare-ups, less muscle fatigue, steadier movement, and even a smoother day-to-day life.
Myofascial release that calms tension and protects your joints
When your joints are extra mobile, your muscles often tighten to keep everything in place - which can feel exhausting and achy. We teach you how to use gentle myofascial release to help calm that constant tension, ease stiffness, and support a healthier, more comfortable range of motion. By incorporating these simple routines as part of your program, we help you settle your nervous system, reduce discomfort, and make your strength work feel safer and more effective.

Nutrition that supports your connective tissue and reduces inflammation
Many of us with hypermobility experience digestive challenges, inflammation, or symptom flare-ups tied to things like mast cell activation or autoimmune tendencies. With a supportive, individualized nutrition approach, we help you understand which foods may be contributing to discomfort and which ones help your body feel more grounded and stable. This can lead to steadier energy, better digestion, improved recovery, and fewer symptom spikes. Think of it as giving your connective tissue - and your whole system the resources it needs to feel and function better.
The goal isn’t perfection — it’s giving your body the steady support it needs to feel good.
Hundreds of clients have trusted us over for over 15 years

Working with Elise the past two years has been life changing. I started working with her after being fully diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. I thought that fitness was out of the question for me, but with her help I am the strongest and healthiest I have EVER been.

I started working with Elise in the spring/summer of 2024. To say I had complex needs was an understatement. I needed someone who understood how hyper mobility, chronic fatigue and chronic pain impacts a body. Little did I know working with Elise and Alex would be the key piece to what I needed to get back on track.

I just wanted to let you know that this is the first trip in over a decade that I was able to come back from vacation and not only not have a flare up, but feel strong the whole way through the trip and walk multiple times a day. I am so thrilled with how strong I've gotten in the past year. Thank you so much!

Working with Alex has been amazing! She's been very knowledgable and helpful around food and diet, as well, including working with my Celiac, Hashimoto's, and several rounds of AIP (autoimmune protocol). After a decade of feeling lost when it came to exercise, I feel stronger and better than I have in years and credit Alex with so much of that!
